Discover Beautiful Thrift Store Finds for Your Home

Welcome to the Blog today, Friends!
We’re off on another thrifting adventure, and I think you’re going to love what we uncovered—there’s something special about finding a little beauty tucked away on a dusty shelf, don’t you think?

I was absolutely thrilled to come across this set of six beautiful plates. Each one features a rich chocolate brown roped edge that frames the design like a picture frame. The background is a gorgeous deep red—somewhere between cranberry and mulled wine—that immediately evokes the cozy feel of the fall and winter seasons. Scattered across the plate are clusters of fruit, vines, and leaves, giving it the look of an old-world still life.

They feel like the kind of plate that would be perfectly at home on a harvest table or nestled under a slice of spice cake on a chilly winter evening. Whether you’re serving up a casual supper or something a little more festive, these plates carry that warmth and richness that just makes a table feel extra special.

A little bonus surprise? These gorgeous plates from the Octavia Hill Collection are both dishwasher and microwave safe—how awesome is that? I’m so excited to plan a table setting starring these beauties. Just wait—come autumn, they’ll be the shining centerpiece of a colorful, cozy fall tablescape!

The next item I found was this lovely little crystal jam jar. The cut glass features a beautiful, intricate pattern that catches the light just right. I love imagining it filled with ruby-colored jam, sparkling as you lift the delicate lid and scoop out just the right amount to spread on toast or a scone. It’s from Cristal D’Arques’ “Longchamp” collection, and these jars typically sell for between $70 and $100. It was a wonderful find to add to my collection of jam and honey jars.

Next on my thrift store treasure hunt, I discovered these lovely reversible placemats by Williams Sonoma. One side features soft, muted green and white stripes—simple and classic—while the other side reveals a delicate green and white floral pattern that feels fresh and charming. The quality is excellent; they look practically brand new, which makes this find even more special. What I love most is how versatile they are—the gentle green tones will blend beautifully with table settings all year round, from bright and breezy summer lunches to cozy autumn dinners, and even fresh spring or crisp winter gatherings. It’s always a joy to find pieces that not only look great but can work so well through every season. Such a wonderful addition to my collection!

Lastly, I discovered this lovely tablecloth made from a soft, high-quality cotton fabric, beautifully patterned in shades of green, black, and off-white. It fits my dining table just right, but it’s also wonderfully versatile—it can be doubled up to work perfectly in the Morning Room, adding a fresh touch to that space as well. Tablecloths like this can often come with a hefty price tag, so finding one that’s both beautiful and practical was such a welcome surprise. What really caught my heart was the charming olive pattern scattered across the fabric. It instantly reminded me of many happy, sun-filled days spent wandering through olive groves in Italy—memories full of warmth, laughter, and delicious food. Now, I get to bring a little piece of that Italian spirit into our home, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for family and friends to enjoy. This tablecloth isn’t just a pretty piece—it’s a lovely reminder of cherished moments and a perfect backdrop for making new ones.

Thank you so much for joining me on this little thrifting adventure. There’s something truly special about discovering beautiful pieces that not only catch the eye but also carry a story or meaning—those are the treasures that make a thrift store visit so rewarding. I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing these finds as much as I’ve enjoyed sharing them with you. I can’t wait to take you along on the next adventure, where I’m sure there will be more wonderful surprises waiting to be uncovered. Until then, happy thrifting and see you next time!
