It’s never to early to buy for Christmas at the Thrift Store. Found this great, large, sponged bowl with a snowman motif for less than $3.00. At Christmas time it would have been much more expensive.

I like to use Emile Henry in my baking but I don’t like the $40 – $50 price for his pie plates. This ruffled pie plate in red came with a simple wrought iron stand. No curlicues on this one. Beautiful. All this for $8.00.

Also found this Longaberger Serving Bowl for $4.00. Longaberger is now closed so all the pieces will become vintage. A good investment as well as pretty and versatile to use.

Always look for the identification on the bottom of ceramic pieces. Most will be marked although some more utilitarian vintage pieces may not be labeled.

We’re planning another big trip next year so I have been looking for helpful packing solutions. Found these Ebags. There were two sets of 4 as pictured left with an additional mid-sized bag. the total of 9 bags were $2. A really good deal and they will be super useful.

Lastly, I found this great pizza cutter

for 25 cents. I use these, not just for pizza, but also to cut scones, pie crust, etc. They are great in gift baskets as well.

Not a bad day at the Thrift Store. Ron picked up a lot of things to sell but I don’t picture those. WE both had a good day.
