Welcome, Everyone, I’m so delighted you are here today to share this wonderful Fall Leaf Tray Hop with me. I’m excited for you to see this warm and cozy tray I’ve put together for you. Fall wouldn’t be complete without some great Autumn Decor and delicious hot soup to eat with your favorite person. Seasonal colors are used here to help convey the warmth and coziness the season brings to mind.

So settle in with a nice hot beverage as I share with you my Fall Tray.

I decided to use something a little bit different for my tray this time. I found it a few months ago at a Thrift Store. My wonderful Hubby repaired and cleaned it up so it would be suitable for indoor use. I wanted to keep the character so didn’t restain it or add to it at all. I love the pumpkin shape…perfect for Fall.

I ran across this cute, metal, pillar candle birdcage this week and thought it added the perfect Fall touch. It has a sweet spiral handle on the door and I inserted a simple pillar candle in a darker tone in keeping with the flowers I was using in this vignette.

Next, I decided that since it was a Fall theme I would try my hand at a little pumpkin flower decor. This medium-sized pumpkin seemed perfect. I pushed a floral frog into the top and added some wet foam to preserve the flowers.

Some ivy from the garden was added to give a trailing, more casual effect. Then I layered in some seasonal flowers in Autumn colors. The light makes pretty shadows on the tray and the flowers add some beautiful hues to the setting.

Here you can see more seasonal color in a second grouping of mums. I loved the dark shade of the burgundy color and it makes a nice closure to the triangle created by the candle, pumpkin and mums.

Napkins and flatware were chosen to incorporate the colors and give a casual feel to the tray.

Of course, then I had to fill the bowls with a nice hearty tomato soup garnished with a little homemade pesto and some fresh basil from the garden. It looks yummy and smells delicious. The recipe takes only about 30 minutes to make so lunch can be on the table in no time. The soup was accompanied by homemade oat bread with melted parmesan.
