Welcome to the Blog today, Friends, I am so happy you are here today to join me for the first February Thrift. A bonanza of linens and some absolutely stunning glasses made their way into my cart this week from only a couple of stores. The stores were much better stocked than I have seen them for some months. Let’s take a look at what I found.
In the first picture are two hand towels or kitchen towels that are in great shape and look brand new. The second picture shows a really cute Spring kitchen towel and four Christmas napkins that will be great for the next holiday season. The last picture shows three hand towels with cute depictions of several of Santa’s reindeer tackling some winter sports.
Three pillow covers were added to the cart. Each cover is in wonderful condition. One represents Fall, one Spring, and one is a simple geometric pattern in white and black.
This next find is a throw by Vince Camuto. The picture above shows the throw after laundering and refurbishing. It was a bit of a project but the results are great. You can see how I remade the throw here:
.
This next find is a lovely lop quilt that features Spring colors and some very sweet owls. It laundered beautifully and I can’t wait to find a place for it in the house. All the linens were a total of about $11.00. I was really pleased with the finds and the price.
Three additional finds came from the second store. In the first picture is a great wooden reindeer garland. The second picture shows a beautifully large Christmas tray in metal. The last picture is four salad/dessert plates that have some great Thanksgiving wording on the rims of the plates.
Lastly, are these absolutely stunning glasses “Marquis” by Mikasa. There were nine glasses and a storage container sold as a set. The glasses sell for $40 each on-line and have some very long stems . I’ll be using them very soon in a tablescape. The glasses and storage container were $25. I was happy dancing all the way to the car after these great finds. Hope your next Thrift Store adventure is a good one for you. Thanks so much for joining me here today.
Wow, what an amazing group of finds! Love the throw and the cute kitchen towels!
Thanks, Gina, it was a great day out. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.

Love everything, but those glasses are amazing…!
I can’t wait to use the glasses in a table setting. Maybe this week? Have a great week, Sandi.

You always find the Best Buy’s! Another great haul
Thanks, Darlene, that might mean I shop too much. LOL Thanks for stopping by and sharing. Have a great week.

I agree with Lynn. Your header with the Thanksgiving plates caught my eye first and then the cute antics of the reindeer on the towels. Very nice finds.
I thought the plates were a great addition for thanksgiving and who could pass up those reindeer, Jan? Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

What caught my eye were the Christmas napkins with the pinecones and acorns. I purchased some very similar this season from Amazon, but I like yours better!! Mine also have poinsettias, so they are more suited for Christmas, but yours look like they could be used for January and the winter months, which makes them more usable. Great finds, as usual!!
Thanks, Elena, the napkins will be great all through the winter months. Thanks for taking the time to comment and share. Have a wonderful week.

Those glasses are amazing! I really need to find a way to sneak away for a bit to go to a thrift store that carries lots of china! You inspire me every week with what you find!

Thanks, Marsha, if you know the store, it doesn’t take much time to go through it. Hope you get that break. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely week.

A nice haul, Lynne. I’m interested in the pillow covers. I never see them (purchased 6 at estate sales long ago). I look for 18×18. Recently, I’ve made more from fabric that I’ve picked up in garage sales & 1 charity store that carries fabric remnants. Oh, the crystal is fab!
Thanks, Robin, I don’t see pillow covers too often but one Goodwill I frequent seems to offer them on occasion. The sizes vary a lot as does the quality of the patterns. Really hit or miss. The crystal really is nice. Thanks for stopping by and sharing. Have a lovely week.

I love the reindeer garland and the thankful & blessed plates! I really need to hit up some of the thrift shops around here and see what I can find. Thanks so much for sharing with us at the SSPS link party! Have a wonderful weekend.
