Yesterday was a wonderful day of thrifting, and I’m so excited to share my finds with all of you. It’s a charming and eclectic mix—a little bit of this, a little bit of that—just like the treasure troves we all love to explore. What made the day even more special was that my hubby came along, and he picked out a few gems that we decided to bring home. I always delight in seeing what catches his eye and how his choices add a unique touch to our home.

The first thing he found were these really cute leather napkin rings with jingle bells attached. He thought they would look great on one of my Christmas tables. I think he’s right. They add a bit more masculine edge to things. I know just the tableware I will use with them.

One of his finds was a fascinating wooden cheese mold, likely from Mexico. When he researched it online, he found others that were similar but not nearly as robust. This one is made from really heavy, thick wood and has some age to it. I’m brimming with ideas for using it as a centerpiece and can’t wait to try it out.

His last find was a set of rattan placemats. Here you can see both sides of the mat. They had a set of four and they were in excellent condition. Our daughter had been wanting a set and they are expensive to buy new. These were perfect for her and only 85 cents each. Not too bad.

Also found this great 16 quart stainless steel pot by Belgique. It’s in excellent condition and hardly looks as if it has been used. It’s quite heavy as well so will work for a number of things in the kitchen.

These beautiful napkins were just 50 cents each! I was able to get eight of them, and half still had the original tags attached. Can’t you just picture them gracing a table set with vintage china and sweet flowers from the garden? The soft, delicate fabric and intricate designs evoke a sense of nostalgia, reminiscent of elegant gatherings and cozy family dinners from days gone by. The vintage look is so appealing, bringing a timeless charm to the setting and conjuring up warm memories of simpler times.

Then there are these lovely placemats at just $1 each. I found six of them in brand new condition. I love this kind of embroidery work, and these placemats are so delicate and feminine—perfect for tea or dessert. Linen is such a wonderful fabric for that vintage feeling, and the embroidered flowers are simply lovely. Their delicate details truly set the scene for a charming, vintage-inspired table.

The last pieces I picked up were these shabby chic wooden candlesticks in a distressed blue/grey finish. I found them quite appealing, and they were such a steal at less than $3 each. I love incorporating this type of decor, especially in the warmer months. It lends a softer, more relaxed tone to any arrangement. I think they will look wonderful with the napkins and placemats, adding that perfect touch of charm and elegance. I can’t wait to see how everything comes together and share it with you all!
