Take a Moment…

Welcome back! I’m so happy you’re here today. It’s been such a busy week, and traveling, no matter how much fun it is, always leaves me feeling a bit tired. Once all the initial chores were done, it was nice to take a moment to relax and let my mind wander over the events of the past few days.

Flowers always add a touch of beauty to any space. These daisies, just a few sprigs, found their way into a beautiful blue frosted bottle, tied with a bit of country ribbon. The soothing color of the ocean combined with the cheerful charm of daisies creates such a relaxing atmosphere. This lovely bottle now shares space on a simple rattan tray I recently picked up at the thrift shop, making the whole scene even more delightful.

Lush peaches share a pretty plate with a jeweled knife, creating a charming scene. There’s something just a wee bit decadent about popping a succulent slice of peach into your mouth, savoring the rich juices as you take a quiet moment for yourself. A brightly colored napkin adorned with images of peaches, bound by a simple wooden napkin ring, adds an extra touch of joy to this delightful treat.

The tray rests on a white, crocheted runner, with crystal candlesticks flanking it at each end. The beeswax candles add another touch of cozy, country charm to the setting. Nearby, a few books lie ready to provide inspiration for an engaging travel experience.

Treat yourself to a few moments of peaceful relaxation during a busy day. Everyone needs to feel a bit special, and creating time for those moments will make you happier. By extension, those around you will benefit from your happier mood. For me, some peaches and a few daisy sprigs in a pretty setting made me feel just a little bit special.
I’m so happy you could share these few moments with me. You always make me feel special.

Thank you for this relaxing interlude, Lynne. Life has been a bit stressful here so anything for relaxation! I do love the way you always have fresh flowers. I really should make myself do that.
