A Hunt Breakfast Christmas Tablescape

Thanks so much for joining me here today. I’m so excited to be joining a talented group of Bloggers as we share our Christmas tablescapes with you. I hope that you find lots of great ideas to incorporate into your own decor. Special thanks to Rita of Panoply for doing a superb job organizing the Christmas Tablescape Blog Hop.

Pour yourself a cup of your favorite hot beverage, relax and explore the wonderful table settings put together for you to enjoy. Links for all the tablescapes appear at the end of the Blog. Welcome and Merry Christmas! Join me now for a Royal Hunt Christmas Breakfast table setting.

I decided to go with the traditional red and green colors especially since I could use my favorite china, Royal Hunt, by Noritake. This wonderful pattern features a stag, a pheasant and a rabbit on the outer rim separated by a pattern of red, green and gold diamonds. Gold dogs chase the animals around the rim of the plate. A large red bordered dinner plate by Kate Spade manufactured by Lenox provides a simple red border around the Noritake plate. A green wooden charger provides another edge of green at the outer rim of the plate stack.

Spode, Christmas Tree, flatware sits on top of a woolen shawl in reds, greens and soft old gold colors. It exudes cozy and makes the china and flatware comfortable and welcoming. The shawl was a perfect topper for this breakfast setting.

A deep red crystal water glass exudes a beautiful ruby color that fits right in with the theme.

A matching cup and saucer are ready for that first cup of fragrant morning coffee at this Christmas Breakfast table. I don’t know about you but I really enjoy that first cup in the morning.

I added a napkin in a similar red, green and white pattern held by a gold stag napkin ring. The napkin rings were a gift from my daughter and I love how well they go with the china.

Fitz & Floyd deer sit on some fresh magnolia. These deer are beautifully rendered and so life-like they truly seem to leap across the table. The colors blend in well with the table topper and the china.

I like to include the area around the table in the theme. The gallery wall is filled with Christmas greetings and woodland charm. A stag head on dark brown wood in white relief is paired with a wooden display of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” A white candle holder with the phrase “gather around” holds 16 candles.

A handmade, Santa with Snowman picture, flanks one side of a metal deer head mounted on a beautiful mahogany plaque. The other side holds a sign asking us to “Believe”. A little magic at Christmas is something everyone should experience.

A moose and a bear flank another hand-stenciled sign asking us to “Believe” in the magic of Christmas.

This view of the table shows the gallery wall on the opposite side. The colors come together really nicely reinforcing the Hunt theme. In this picture you can also see the decorated chandelier. The chandelier is hung with Waterford snowflakes and recycled glass icicles. Magnolia and Ivy add a touch of the forest to the light.

Another view shows the handmade wooden trees my Hubby made. They work perfectly in the windows along with handmade magnolia wreaths.

Here’s a closer look at the individual place settings. Guests can easily see one another across the table so conversation can flow.

An overview of the whole table and the gallery wall encourages guests to share Christmas memories and make new ones together. From our home to yours… a sincere wish for a wonderful holiday season filled with joy and love.
