I was running a few errands today and stopped in to visit one of my favorite Thrift Stores. I am so glad I did. Welcome to the Blog today, Friends, for the last Thrift Store outing in July.
You can see from the picture above that it was an eclectic group of finds. That’s always fun when you’re shopping.

I found these great Bee glasses by La Rochelle. There were four water/wine goblets and two juice glasses. I really do love finding things that depict these wonderful garden workers.

A few months ago I found four of these water glasses in the same pattern. It is so nice to have some additional pieces to add to this set. The best part, and don’t hate me, but they were 75 cents a piece. This was a great find.

The next find were these glasses by Mikasa in the Uptown pattern. They are quite beautiful and have a nice weight to them. They will look great in a table setting and are an interesting look that is a bit more modern. They were about 90 cents a piece. Another great find.

This great paisley tablecloth found its way into my cart. I’m looking forward to deciding what to pair with it.

I loved the look of these four great holiday reversible placemats. They have that cozy cottage feel with their patchwork design and on the reverse side the red and white ticking. Can’t you just see an evergreen arrangement with an old-fashioned Santa as part of the display?

Next, a pretty little frame covered in a trellis and rose pattern. Loved the very muted colors.

This cute little tin sign found its way home with me. I can just see it in a flower vignette.

I rarely buy pillows but these were in brand new condition and the green is an absolute match for my new sofa while the pinks and roses pick-up the colors in the rug. My great room is a bit on the formal side so the pillows fit right in.

The light isn’t wonderful in this picture but you can see how the pillow pulls out the colors in the carpet. I was so pleased with how well it matched.

The last item is this very nice size box/trunk with a nice velveteen interior. The pretty blues and seaside motifs make this box a Summer gem. Can’t wait to use it.
Well that’s it for the month of July. Hope you all have great fun thrifting in the coming weeks.
Wow – such great finds! Love the pillows matching, and when that happens, it was meant to be!
The pillows were a real bonus. I love how they look with the sofa. Sometimes you just get lucky. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Great finds in July! I like that little “treasure chest” box. It will look at home in a pretty, seaside-themed vignette for summer decorating.

Love the tablecloth & all the glasses the best. The reversible placemats are great – the striped side could be used in a picnic table setting, too.
I thought the reversible placemats were so sweet. They are also soft to the touch bringing more of that cozy feel to the table. Thanks for visiting and commenting.

You always find the greatest treasures! I always enjoy seeing them. Already saw your posts with the sea chest and new couch with pillows. They looked great. I got foolish and made a batch of 3 zuchhini chocolate cakes (loaves) for Al to give friends today. No a/c, fan exhausting the oven heat. BUT, friends will enjoy it! Enjoying sharing them!
I imagine your friends were extremely appreciative of your baking. No AC, I can’t imagine that where we live. We are definitely in the hottest part of Summer. Thanks for the kind words. I am really enjoying the changes in those two rooms. It’s like a new house. Thanks for visiting and sharing.
