Just love adding red to a Valentine’s table. The tablescape to the left included some bowls I purchased in a thrift store outing in January. Red is such a happy color. Added some red goblets and simple white dishes along with some fun red flatware I picked up on another outing.
In the picture above you can see the layering a little better. Used three different white patterns: Mikassa’s French and English countryside and a Johnson from London plate. It adds some depth to the table. I used a. simple black charger with a rhinestone edge to set off the red and white dishware.
Also added this really pretty white teapot to the mix. It also came from a thrift shop but started it’s life in a Chicago Factory that is now defunct. Love the graceful lines of this one.
I pick up red dishes whenever I can as they are great to mix in for Valentine’s Day and all throughout the Christmas holidays.
