Welcome, Friends, I’m so happy you’re here to join me this morning. Picture a brunch that’s like a warm hug, where modern and vintage china sit side by side, each piece telling a story. Crystal glasses catch the light, adding a touch of sparkle to the simple, calming blue and white tones. The table is alive with the charming buzz of bee flatware and napkin holders, creating a playful, inviting atmosphere. It’s a gathering place for friends and family, where every dish holds a memory and every smile feels like home. Come, pull up a chair, and join me in this cozy, fun-filled brunch celebration!

A deep blue tablecloth lays the groundwork, while a textured, woven white placemat adds a touch of charm. It’s the perfect canvas for what comes next: a delightful mix of blue and white china that promises a feast for the eyes.

At the heart of each table setting sits a gorgeous, modern Ralph Lauren dinner plate, its edges adorned with intricate navy scroll work. A navy band adds a touch of sophistication to the inner ring, making it a standout piece. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Nestled on top is a charming Churchill of England salad/dessert plate, boasting a delightful blue and white floral motif. Its center showcases a picturesque country scene, making each bite a feast for the eyes. Together, these plates create a harmonious blend of elegance and whimsy, setting the stage for a lovely brunch experience.

A crystal sherbert dish rests atop the plate stack just waiting for a fruit compote to be added to the stack. The crystal is by Mikasa and is their “Park Lane” pattern. See how it catches and reflects the light in the crystal facets.

The water glass is also Mikasa. I love the look of this glass. It is elegant yet simple with a gorgeous bowl that reaches upward.

The sherbet dishes glisten with a medley of strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, and bananas, each bite bursting with freshness. A hint of lime and mint adds a zesty twist, turning each spoonful into a flavor-packed adventure. And what better way to start this culinary journey than with a glass of Mimosa? The bubbly champagne dancing with the tangy orange juice sets the tone for a brunch filled with laughter, good food, and even better company. So grab a dish, pour yourself a Mimosa, and let’s make this brunch unforgettable!

Wallace makes this beautiful “Bee” flatware. It is silver with highlights in gold. I love to use this flatware in the spring and summer. It goes really well with most table settings that reflect the outdoors.

Purple clematis and Siberian iris stand tall, while a delicate bearded iris adds a touch of elegance. Lemon verbena, with its refreshing scent, weaves through the arrangement, offering a delightful surprise for the senses. The lemony aroma fills the air, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. As you gather around this natural centerpiece, you can’t help but feel a sense of joy and anticipation for the delightful brunch ahead.

Here’s an overhead of the table…simple but pretty. After the fruit, friends were served homemade blueberry waffles served with fresh blueberries on top, with optional whipped cream and maple syrup. In addition, I served some crisp applewood bacon. It was a delightful meal that everyone enjoyed. We were actually so busy eating that I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the food but it was delicious.

I wish you could have been there but I’m delighted I could share much of it with you. Using the blue and white color scheme simplifies the planning. The fresh garden flowers add a pop of color to the table that is picked up by the green in the napkins. Brunch with Friends is a lovely way to start the day. thanks so much for joining me.
