Spring table settings are such a pleasure to share with you and today’s tablescape features some beautiful Minton china that I just found at Goodwill. Welcome to the Blog today, Friends. Spring is such a joyous reawakening with gardens beginning to bloom and sunshine beaming through the windows.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A white tablecloth acts as the background for the table and a centerpiece of pinks and yellows in a crystal vase set on a pottery plate adds a pop of color for the table.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I love how the three major elements in the plate stack go together. The charger and the Minton plates are in the same color family and match quite well. Pure happenstance as they were bought at different times in different thrift Stores.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The pink and yellow flower colors in the centerpiece are picked up in the double sided napkins. One side of the napkin is in the turquoise color of the plates with a charming country scene. The other side is a floral pattern that incorporates the blue along with yellows and roses. A two for one deal.<\/p>\n

The plate stack starts with a Pier 1 charger in the Ginko<\/em> pattern. Next is a Minton, Turquoise Cameo<\/em> patterned dinner plate and then a Minton luncheon size plate.<\/p>\n

The plates and charges really blend together well.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

You can see that the napkins are held together by simple silver-plate napkin rings by Royal Ltd. Silver. They pick-up the silver in the edging inside and outside the rim of the plates.<\/p>\n

I used a grape vine bird’s nest with a little moss in the center for cushioning. Three multi-colored eggs were secured to the center. They pick up the colors in the napkins and centerpiece.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The silver-plate pattern by Oneida is called, Caprice. <\/em>The simple flower pattern on the stems has a nice curve and edges the stem part way up the handles.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The crystal water glass on the left is by Godinger. The pattern is Milano<\/em>…..just a little touch of Italy to go with the Minton. It is paired with Rockford<\/em> by Noritake. The stems on these two cut crystal goblets are similar which ties them together.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Here you can see the whole table with the little bunnies in the background. The setting is simple and the colors calm and quiet with that pop of color in the center distributed around the table with the napkins and nests.<\/p>\n

A nice view to the next place setting shows how the color carries from one setting to the next.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is such a peaceful setting…..I really enjoyed putting it together and I think our guests will enjoy dining at this table.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
