Do you know that feeling you get sometimes that you should do something, call someone or go somewhere? Well that feeling took hold this week telling me to go to my local Goodwill. I couldn’t do that on the day but my husband had a similar feeling for the same place the next day so off we went…straight from yard work to the Goodwill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The picture above is of a 14″ wide by 48″ long sign with a wooden frame and probably plywood board with blue, pink and gold hearts covering the entire piece. Thought this would be really great for Valentine’s Day or maybe Mother’s Day. Everything I bought today was 25% off the regular price so the cost of this piece was a whopping $3. This was originally sold by Hobby Lobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This next piece is a window frame with a mirror in distressed black. It has metal hinges and a metal ring you can see in the picture. This is also originally from Hobby Lobby and sold for $60. The Thrift Store price was $1.50. Can’t wait to use this for something fun. It’s a great farmhouse piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next is another cute little sign that actually matches the blue in the heart piece. The sentiments match as well so I can easily picture using these together in a display. The canvas is textured, although you can’t really see that in the picture. This was also $1.50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was only one of these glasses but I carry pictures of patterns I have on my phone and this matched one of them. The pattern name is Rockfort by Noritake. I have six other glasses and this one makes seven. it is really helpful to have this information with you when you are thrifting. This glass was 75 cents. It’s really hard to go wrong at that price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This cute little tea towel is 100% cotton and is made in England. It has a very sweet pattern of rabbits and vegetables and I just loved how it looked. This was 75 cents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last purchase was this wine rack. It was all wrapped up in pieces in the store so you really had to look to see what it was and how it might go together. It holds 72 bottles of wine and is made from pine. It measures 4 feet wide by 2 1\/2 feet tall. It was very easy to put together and looks quite attractive. The cost of this wine rack was $3.75 and it sells on-line for about $100. All of the purchases came to under $12.00. I was very happy on my way out of the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
