Fall Thrifting is great. All the Fall and Winter holidays are on the way and Thrift Stores are beginning to pull out their holiday merchandise. I have been trying to find some ceramic jack o lanterns to use for this season but they have been really difficult to find. I have three large ones but I needed some smaller ones to distribute around the house for decorations.

At one store I was lucky enough to find a bonanza of pumpkins including some white ones. I also found three medium-sized ceramic jack o lanterns. I was so happy. The pumpkins were $3 – $4 each. The smaller pumpkin was $2. I was very happy.

We went to one other store where I found the remaining items. Starting with the picture above I found a great tablecloth in heavy damask fabric. It is very pretty and hangs beautifully.

Next are these great Fall placemats with a background of dark brown and embroidered Fall leaves in red, yellow and green. These were brand new and still had the stickers. The placemats were 75 cents each. I think they look great against the tablecloth.

These Fall plates were another find and I’ll be using them soon in a table setting. Love those Autumn colors.

This coming soon sign was really different and only $1 so it ended up in my cart.

The sign above was cute but absolutely filthy. I bought it for $1 and brought it home and cleaned it up with just soap and water. Doesn’t it look great now?

This was another inexpensive purchase. It will hold a picture or saying and I loved the rustic red color.

The other two signs I found were a wonderful “Gather” sign in dark brown and gold. This was a bit more but is actually a wooden sign. It cost $3. The other sign is very rustic and also wooden. “Eat, Drink & Be Merry”. I’m really looking forward to all these signs.

This was a really good Fall haul. You’ll be seeing all these things in future posts.

  1. I love the glass pumpkins. I had one that was a cream colour with a crackle effect to it. It was beautiful. Sadly, it didn’t survive our last move and I’ve never been able to find it again in the store. Anyway, great decorations.

    1. Thanks so much. So sorry you lost your favorite pumpkin. Moving is always difficult and can be hard on your things. Keep looking, you never know what you will find. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

  3. Love the linen (of course). Is the white pumpkin tureen a single serving size? Nice plates as well. Who makes them?

    1. Hi Robin, the white pumpkin tureen is probably a double size…too big for one but not big enough for a group. The plates are “Autumn Celebration” by 222 Fifth. I haven’t used them yet but hope too soon. Hope you have a great week and thanks for visiting.
