Fall is definitely approaching and I am delighting in all the Fall colors as we make our way into September. Cool nights, warm days and falling leaves…what’s not to like. Welcome to the Blog today, Friends, for a simple flower vignette welcoming Fall.

A fun pumpkin runner in subdued oranges and browns is the base for the vignette. I used a pretty little wooden tray with iron handles to hold alternating red and green apples. A multi-colored candle in wine, deep brown and gold in a crystal pillar holder flanks one side of the arrangement. On the other side is a bouquet of Fall mums in deep yellows and purples. All these different colors speak of Fall and somehow they all blend together.

The flowers are held in a beautiful pottery jug made here in South Carolina by a local potter. The jug was a welcome gift from dear Friends when we moved here years ago. It’s one of my favorites and I display it often.

Here’s another look at these gorgeous Mums.

The candle is really impressive. Both the candle, runner and crystal holder are Thrift Store finds.

A view from the other side. The day is overcast and rainy but this vignette absolutely brightens things up.

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday and a wonderful Labor Day Weekend.

  1. Love that hand made pottery vase! I am in SC too. The apples in the tray look great with the flowers. If you have time stop by my new link party Home Imagined, opened now. Have a great week.
