This Sunday on the Blog I’m doing a little Fourth of July flower arranging. Welcome to the Blog today, Friends, for a couple of simple arrangements to embellish your July 4th festivities. I made the above arrangement yesterday in just a few minutes. A little bit of Independence Day ribbon, an American flag and a pinwheel make a festive addition to a Thrift Store metal hanging basket painted for July 4th.

I had the flowers on hand so all I had to do was cut some foam to fit the holder and insert all the elements in the foam. Quick and easy.

This impromptu dinner was a last minute happening. I used hydrangea from the garden in a blue and white vase and added a few white and red stems and an American flag to the arrangement for a July 4th look.

Everything was kept quite simple with some red candles in low crystal holders adding to the overall look of the centerpiece.

In the background you can see an American Flag in a shabby chic frame that I picked up at a Thrift Store not long ago. A little bit of Americana to add to the setting along with the hanging basket on the window.

A napkin rose was added to the place setting for another flower touch.

With the candles lit, this simple table takes on a lovely ambience.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

  1. Oh, I bet your friends just love being invited for a meal at your house. It is always so pretty with those little extra touchs like the napkins roses that let guests know you were thinking of them when you did it!

    1. We do like to entertain for dinner. Dressing the table is always fun and choosing simple meals works well, especially in the Summer. Thanks for commenting. Always appreciate it.

    1. I found the basket last year and had it tucked away. I didn’t go super decorative for the Fourth this year. Had too much other stuff going on but a little decoration sometimes works well. Happy it inspired you to take out your basket. thanks for stopping by and commenting.
