February Thrifting can be challenging but rewarding. Welcome to the Blog today, Friends. I’m going to share a small thrifting outing with you today. February can be a difficult month fo thrift due to weather and….. in my area…..there just doesn’t seem to be as many things in the shops. I have noticed things are picking up a little so maybe there will be some treasures waiting.

However, I did find a few great items. The first is this wonderful tablecloth. It just shouts Spring to me and since I’m ready for Spring this fit right in. Love the big, beautiful blooms in pinks and blues. Can’t wait to use this in a table setting.

Found this super stainless steel by Oneida in their Michaelangelo pattern. It’s quite elaborate and different from the much simpler stainless I usually use. Service for 12 (almost) in this one with all the serving pieces as well.

I found some Butterfly Meadow pieces last week and then ran across these two dinner plates in the same pattern. Funny how that happens sometimes. A particular pattern will show up in several different stores.

Also found these mugs which will go very nicely with the plates. They are also by Lenox but showcase different butterflies on the mugs. The colors are meant to go with the Butterfly Garden pattern. Love seeing all the different butterflies.

Finally, found this maple cutting board. It has indentations on the sides to act as handles and the wood itself is a good 2 inches thick. It is quite heavy and large. A little mineral oil and it will be a wonderful addition to food prep in the kitchen.

Just a few small things for a February outing. Hope your next venture to the Thrift Store nets you some treasures.
