Hello Friends and welcome to the Blog today. I have some more blue and white for you today to create this casual table setting. I’m using some new finds and some older ones for this tablescape. I started with a newly thrifted tablecloth in navy and white check. Somehow navy and white and the words crisp and clean naturally go together.

The tablecloth sets the tone for this two color tablescape. A new white charger holds a handmade Polish dinner plate. Keeping up the blue and white pattern the next piece is a white wave Villeroy and Bosch salad plate. Found it a few months ago at the Thrift Store. Finally, we have a newly acquired English bread and butter plate with a scalloped edge. Love the modern looking flower pattern on this one.

I really like all of these plates. The crisp look of the blue and white really pops on the table.

Crystal glasses in blue and clear add to the tablescape. One is really simple (the blue) by Block and the other is beautifully cut crystal. The silver plate is a simple pattern, Flair, that adds some curves and style to the place setting.

A simple snow white napkin paired with a silver-plate napkin holder keeps things casual and elegant.

Pink hydrangea mixed with lemon verbena in a cut crystal pitcher grace the middle of the table. A simple centerpiece for a simple table setting.

You can see in this overhead sho that the centerpiece adds the only additional color to the table. I left lots of empty space so guests would not feel crowded or overwhelmed. The feeling is calm and relaxed.

Gather with friends and have a great meal while you enjoy Summer’s bounty.
