Hello and welcome today to the blog. I’m continuing my series of toppings and sides for a Portobello Mushroom Burger meal. This next recipe is for and herbal Aoili to add to the burger buns and flavor the assembled Mushroom Burgers.


In a small bowl add egg yolks and lemon juice and blend together.

Add 1/2 of the olive oil, mix well and check mixture.

Add garlic and chives and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly.

Add remaining olive oil and mix thoroughly.

Cover and refrigerate.

This tastes super on the Portobello Mushroom Burger. Give it a try. I think you’ll like the taste and texture of this great Aioli.
