I really love having fresh flowers in the house. They’re beautiful and they give you a feeling of the outdoors inside your home. I also like to have the flowers in the garden where I can see them growing so it’s somewhat of a dilemma…..to cut or not to cut.
We had a really bad storm with high winds a couple of days ago. When I went out to check the garden some of the Iris were lying on the ground. They were easy to cut and bring into the house. The same was true of the branch of snowball blossoms. Together they look rather nice.
Here are some shots from today taken in the garden. I am amazed at the variety of shapes and colors we are able to enjoy. It’s a constant feast for the eyes and for the soul.
Everyday we count our many blessings. It’s important to remember all the good things you have in these troubled times.
