Thrift stores are a great place to add to your teacup collection. These beauties were about $2.00 each at my local Goodwill store.

You can’t serve Afternoon Tea without pretty plates. Found 4 of these Lenox Dessert Plates at my local Goodwill. They were priced at 89 cents each and were on sale that day for 25% off that price. Perfect condition.

If you’re a Stoneware collector, you can find some great pieces at Thrift Shops. This teapot in an antique store would probably run about $40.00 +. However, the thrift store price was under $4.00. I call that a good find. It also makes great tea.

All you need now is something that will boil water and a baker in the kitchen to make your scones.

Once your scones are baked you can serve them on a cake plate that you found at the thrift store. This one was from Mikasa. Cake plates are readily available at the thrift store and are great display pieces as well.

Set your table with your thrifted plates, chargers, napkins, and placemats. Add your thrifted teacups and saucers and you have a lovely setting for Afternoon Tea.

Enjoy!
